The theme 'The City and Its Spaces’ set the mold for one more 31st Bienal de São Paulo Open Meeting, held at SESC Pompeia on March 22, 2014. The modernist building, a former drum factory remodeled by Lina Bo Bardi in 1977, became a SESC facility in 1982. The center’s cultural spaces receive some five thousand visitors each day.
