Public talk: Brazilians × Indigenous Peoples - The Double Bind

Brazilians have yet to overcome their schizophrenic relationship towards Indigenous Peoples living in Brazil, in order to discover themselves. The talk will approach this issue through the statement by modernist writer Oswald de Andrade saying: 'Tupi or not Tupi. That is the question'. Isn’t it time now to put the statement in contemporary terms, and say: 'Tupi and not Tupi'?
